- Grade 12
- At least two years' relevant administrative experience in general office administration and coordination
- General knowledge of legislation and local government frameworks will be an added advantage
- A valid Code B driving licence will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy
- Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Primary functions
- Maintain repositories of approved policies, strategic documents, resolutions and by-laws
- Ensure accurate filing, indexing and retrieval of records
- Maintain document control and version management systems
- Update and maintain organisational databases and stakeholder information systems
- Coordinate monthly verification of departmental contact information
- Manage governance-related information requests and document distribution
- Coordinate corporate information
- Coordinate administrative support services for the section
- Prepare correspondence, reports and supporting documentation
- Maintain project and programme records
- Support the implementation of governance initiatives and projects
- Coordinate facilities-related matters with corporate support units and landlords
- Maintain asset registers and inventory records
- Conduct annual verification of assets and office inventories
- Monitor the use of office resources and equipment
- Maintain attendance records and related human resources documentation
- Coordinate occupational health and safety workplace inspections, requirements and related administration
