This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading automotive organisation where you'll play a key role in managing sponsorships, collaborations, CSR initiatives, and marketing fleet operations while helping to build and strengthen brand presence across South Africa. Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly organised Assistant Manager: Sponsorships & Collaborations to support the Marketing & PR team in the planning, coordination, execution, and measurement of sponsorships, partnerships, collaborations, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, sporting organisations, influencers, dealers, and media partners to maximise brand exposure and deliver measurable marketing success. Remuneration 700 - 750K TCTC Including 13th Cheque (Depending on Experience) Benefits include – Company car + Fuel card + Cell phone allowance Detail: Duties include: Manage relationships with sponsorship agencies, collaboration partners, sporting organisations, and external stakeholders. Coordinate sponsorship, partnership, and CSR initiatives, ensuring contractual deliverables are achieved. Monitor, measure, and report on sponsorship performance, brand exposure, and campaign effectiveness. Assist in developing strategies to maximise sponsorship and partnership opportunities. Identify and evaluate new sponsorships, collaborations, and partnership opportunities aligned with business objectives. Prepare management reports highlighting sponsorship ROI, media coverage, and CSR activities. Coordinate vehicle allocations for competitions, collaborations, influencers, events, and promotional campaigns. Assist with the administration and management of the marketing vehicle fleet, including scheduling services, maintenance, vehicle orders, fuel card claims, indemnity documentation, and general fleet coordination. Liaise with dealerships, suppliers, influencers, brand ambassadors, and internal departments to ensure seamless campaign execution. Coordinate ticket allocations for sponsored events and promotional activities. Process invoices, maintain accurate records, manage correspondence, and provide general administrative support. Support cross-functional marketing initiatives and assist with event planning and execution where required. Requirements: Relevant Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Business qualification. Minimum of 2 years' Marketing or Public Relations experience gained within the automotive industry, preferably at manufacturer or distributor level. Previous experience managing sponsorships, partnerships, collaborations, or CSR programmes will be highly advantageous. Knowledge of sports sponsorships and a general understanding of rugby, soccer, cricket, and netball would be beneficial. Strong business acumen with excellent commercial awareness. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Strong planning, organisational, and project management abilities. High level of computer literacy. Ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and present findings to management. Experience working across multiple departments and managing external stakeholders. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop and improve administrative processes and systems. Basic legal or contractual knowledge relating to sponsorships would be advantageous. Professional, adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent emotional intelligence with the ability to build relationships across all levels. Valid driver's licence. Willingness to travel extensively within South Africa, with occasional international travel when required. Willingness to work overtime to support events and business requirements.
