- Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Development & Engagement Consultant to join their Human Resources Division in Kariega. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving organisational development and employee engagement initiatives across the business, with a strong focus on workplace culture, leadership effectiveness and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the annual employee engagement survey process.
- Support managers with survey preparation, feedback and action planning.
- Guide leadership in developing and tracking employee engagement action plans.
- Facilitate workshops, discussions and engagement sessions across teams.
- Analyse survey results and prepare clear reports and presentations.
- Coordinate internal communication and employee engagement campaigns.
- Liaise with global engagement networks and support group-wide initiatives.
- Facilitate organisational development, culture and learning interventions.
- Identify team culture challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
- Organise engagement activities, including workshops and team events.
- Collaborate with internal communications to ensure clear and effective messaging.
- Manage budgets associated with OD and engagement initiatives.
- Monitor progress and measure the effectiveness of engagement programmes.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree 3 years in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or Organisational Development.
- Professional registration, such as Industrial Psychologist or Certified Coach, will be advantageous.
Experience
- 3–5 years' experience in Human Resources, preferably within Training & Development, HR Consulting, or Assessment & Diagnostics.
- Proven experience in employee engagement and organisational development initiatives.
- Understanding of change management processes.
