Job Description

  • Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Development & Engagement Consultant to join their Human Resources Division in Kariega. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving organisational development and employee engagement initiatives across the business, with a strong focus on workplace culture, leadership effectiveness and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the annual employee engagement survey process.
  • Support managers with survey preparation, feedback and action planning.
  • Guide leadership in developing and tracking employee engagement action plans.
  • Facilitate workshops, discussions and engagement sessions across teams.
  • Analyse survey results and prepare clear reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate internal communication and employee engagement campaigns.
  • Liaise with global engagement networks and support group-wide initiatives.
  • Facilitate organisational development, culture and learning interventions.
  • Identify team culture challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Organise engagement activities, including workshops and team events.
  • Collaborate with internal communications to ensure clear and effective messaging.
  • Manage budgets associated with OD and engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor progress and measure the effectiveness of engagement programmes.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree 3 years in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or Organisational Development.
  • Professional registration, such as Industrial Psychologist or Certified Coach, will be advantageous.

Experience

  • 3–5 years' experience in Human Resources, preferably within Training & Development, HR Consulting, or Assessment & Diagnostics.
  • Proven experience in employee engagement and organisational development initiatives.
  • Understanding of change management processes.
