- Qualification that allows registration with SANC as Nursing Auxiliary Enrolled Nursing Assistant. Current SANC license to practice 2026.
Duties
- Maintain hygiene of patient; Provide nutrition and assist with Mobility. Assist with elimination processes. Provide elementary nursing care. Measure, interpret and record vital signs.
- Operate all relevant apparatus and equipment. Assist with clinical procedures. Preparation of patients for diagnostic and surgical procedures. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development.
- Maintain the code of conduct as required in the public service and by the professional body. Seek learning opportunities, i.e. in-service training, courses. Relieve in other wards when necessary. Must be willing to workday and night shifts, and escort patients to other facilities for continuity of quality care.
