- Grade 12 Certificate, qualification that allows registration with South Africa Nursing Council SANC as Nursing Assistant. Applicant must be registered with SANC. Be able to demonstrate elementary understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practice. Able to implement elementary functions according to the scope of practice.
DUTIES
- Perform elementary clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards, as determined by the relevant health facility. Promote quality of elementary nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards, as determined by the relevant health facility. Conduct communication with patients and supervisors effectively. Work as part of multidisciplinary team to ensure quality nursing care. Work effectively, cooperatively and amicably with persons of diverse intellectual, cultural, racial or religious groups. Passion to work with elderly persons and people with disability
