PLP is seeking a highly dedicated and efficient Night Shift Facilities Coordinator to oversee and manage the smooth operation of our facilities during nighttime hours. The position is based in Randburg, Johannesburg, and requires a professional who can ensure a secure and well-maintained environment for our staff and operations overnight.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all nightly facility operations to ensure seamless functionality and security.
- Coordinate with cleaning, maintenance, and security teams to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies that arise during the night shift.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance needs or hazards.
- Maintain and update reports on facility operations and incidents for daytime management review.
Desired Experience & Qualification
A qualification in Facilities Management, Occupational Health & Safety or a related technical field will be advantageous .
Valid First Aid and Fire Marshal certification will be advantageous .
Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in Facilities Management, Building Operations or a similar role.
Experience administering electronic access control, biometric and RFID systems.
Experience working within a reception or customer service environment.
Good understanding of building maintenance systems and building services.
Good knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
Strong administrative, reporting and computer skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
