Our client is seeking a Next Generation Accountant to join their team in Cape Town. This role offers exceptional exposure to cutting-edge financial ecosystems and next-generation business models.

Minimum Requirements

• B.Com Degree with CA(SA)

• Strong accounting and financial reporting fundamentals

• Passion for or exposure to Web3, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, AI, and Digital Assets

• Interest in emerging technologies and the future of finance

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Prepare management accounts, reconciliations, journals, and financial statements.

• Support the accounting and reporting of cryptocurrency and digital asset transactions.

• Assist with financial controls, compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Work closely with operational and technology teams to improve financial processes and reporting capabilities.

• Contribute to finance-related projects involving blockchain, digital assets, and automation initiatives
