We are looking for a results-driven sales leader with extensive vehicle sales experience and a proven ability to lead a team, achieve targets and maximise departmental profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the New Vehicle Sales Department .
Lead, motivate and manage the vehicle sales team to achieve monthly targets.
Monitor individual and departmental sales performance.
Drive new vehicle sales volumes and maximise departmental profitability.
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market penetration.
Manage vehicle stock levels and ensure an appropriate stock mix.
Monitor leads, enquiries and sales opportunities to maximise conversions.
Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
Maintain manufacturer and dealership standards.
Prepare and monitor sales forecasts, budgets and departmental reports.
Coach and develop sales executives to improve performance.
Work closely with the Dealer Principal, F&I and other dealership departments.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Sales Manager with New vehicles .
Considerable experience with vehicle sales.
Experience working in a corporate branded dealership such as VW, BMW, Hyundai, etc.
Proven track record of reaching targets and ensuring departmental profitability.
Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
Valid SA Driver’s Licence.
Clear criminal record.
Grade 12 or equivalent.
