- This role is suited to an accomplished automotive sales professional who understands the full vehicle sales process, consistently delivers against targets and is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences.
As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will be expected to lead from the front, maximise every sales opportunity and serve as a role model to the wider sales team.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Minimum 3 years' proven experience in new vehicle sales, preferably within a franchised dealership environment.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing ability.
- Strong computer and CRM literacy.
- Sound understanding of the vehicle sales process.
- Good product and market knowledge.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding targets.
- Professional presentation and customer-focused approach.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly new vehicle sales targets.
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, referrals, networking and digital leads.
- Manage the complete sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Conduct professional vehicle presentations and demonstrations.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle solutions.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate professionally to maximise sales and profitability.
- Effectively handle objections and close sales.
- Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline.
- Ensure all leads are followed up promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect information on the CRM system.
- Work closely with F&I and Sales Administration to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Ensure all required sales documentation is completed accurately and timeously.
- Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and CSI.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and remain informed about promotions, campaigns and competitor activity.
- Assist and guide less experienced Sales Consultants through coaching, support and sharing best practices.
- Lead by example in terms of professionalism, customer service, work ethic and achievement of targets.
- Participate in dealership events, campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Uphold all dealership, Group and manufacturer policies and standards
