Job Summary: Mid Career (2 - 4 yrs exp) Polymer New Product Developer position available in the beautiful Western Cape. Key Responsibilities:
- BSc in Polymer Science, Chemistry and Polymer Science, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in polymer science, polymer laboratory testing, product development, or a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with product development, material testing and manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of polymer materials, formulations, processing techniques and their impact on product performance.
- Ability to design, conduct and interpret laboratory experiments.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts and advanced formula functions.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and laboratory documentation.
Qualifications
- Degree or Hion in Polymer Science or related field.
