This permanent role offers the chance to work on networking and observability platforms that sit at the heart of service reliability, with exposure to a technically demanding environment where visibility, stability and performance matter. Based in Cape Town the position will suit an engineer who wants meaningful ownership, strong technical depth and the opportunity to contribute to platforms that support business-critical operations within the IT sector. The role brings together networking and observability in a way that rewards practical problem-solving, steady delivery and the ability to keep complex environments running with confidence.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification in information technology, networking or a related field
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar engineering role
- Strong experience supporting networking and observability platforms
- Solid technical understanding of infrastructure monitoring, performance and service visibility
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a production environment
- Experience within an information technology environment
Experience with Linux, SNMP, and enterprise-level network design is essential. Preferred qualifications include CCNP, Fortinet SDWAN, ITILv4, and additional certifications such as CWNP, CWNE, or CWNA. Package & Remuneration
