If you are a Full Stack .NET Developer with strong ASP.NET Web Forms experience and solid SQL skills, this remote-first role offers plenty of variety. You will work across established and evolving web-based applications, including client-facing platforms, internal systems, third-party integrations, payment functionality, automated communications and data-driven solutions.
The work is hands-on and the technology stack is specific, so the team is looking for someone who is comfortable getting into an existing codebase, understanding how different systems connect, troubleshooting effectively and taking responsibility for delivering quality work without needing constant oversight.

Minimum Requirements

3 to 5 years of commercial full stack web development experience
Solid, hands-on ASP.NET Web Forms experience is essential for this role
Strong working knowledge of VB.NET and/or C# C# candidates can be trained into VB.NET
Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience including T-SQL, complex joins, stored procedures and query optimisation
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Experience debugging and supporting production web applications
Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively in a remote environment
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a relevant IT diploma, or equivalent proven commercial development experience
Candidates whose experience is limited to ASP.NET Core or modern .NET frameworks without commercial ASP.NET Web Forms experience are unlikely to be suitable for this role

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance and maintain ASP.NET Web Forms applications using VB.NET and C#
Work across front-end and back-end development as a full stack contributor
Design, write and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures and other SQL Server database components
Troubleshoot, optimise and support production applications and database queries
Develop and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and external platforms
Investigate and resolve bugs and production issues
Build new functionality and enhance existing application modules based on business requirements
Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle, including code reviews and daily stand-ups
Develop and maintain web-based user interfaces and supporting functionality
Collaborate with project managers and other team members throughout development and delivery
Assist with technical queries and application support when required
