.NET UI Developer specialising in Blazor

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced .NET UI Developer specialising in Blazor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, responsive user interfaces for our retail platform.You will work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and UX designers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant web applications using Blazor and the .NET ecosystem, aligned to cloud-native architectures on AW

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive web applications and reusable UI components using .NET, C# and Blazor .

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Blazor Server and/or WebAssembly.

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Contribute to frontend architecture, component design and state management.

• Ensure applications are responsive, accessible, secure and optimised for performance.

• Analyse UI/UX requirements and implement solutions that enhance usability and user experience.

• Develop clean, maintainable and reusable code in line with development standards.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers and other stakeholders.

• Participate in code reviews, testing and quality assurance activities.

• Contribute to CI/CD, deployment and development processes.

• Work within Agile/SCRUM and SDLC methodologies.

• Contribute to cloud-native solutions using AWS services.

• Stay up to date with Blazor and frontend development technologies and best practices.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong frontend/UI focus .

• Extensive experience with .NET and C# development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly) .

• Proven experience developing modern, responsive web applications.

• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs .

• Experience with cloud-hosted applications, preferably AWS .

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, UI/UX, responsive design and accessibility.

• Experience with Agile/SCRUM and SDLC methodologies.

• Strong code quality and UI testing practices.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Advantageous

• Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind or similar frontend frameworks.

• Knowledge of JavaScript and Blazor interoperability.

• Experience with frontend state management.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or AWS EKS.

• Exposure to API-driven or event-driven architectures.

• Experience with retail or customer-facing digital platforms.
