Description

We are seeking experienced .NET Developers to join a product-focused engineering team. Candidates will deliver high-quality C#/.NET solutions, participate in technical design, integrate multi-component systems, and contribute to CI/CD and cloud-based deployments. This is an office-based role in Durban with agile collaboration and an emphasis on code quality and automated testing.

Intermediate Role :Up to 6 Years Experience

Senior Role : 8 to 10 + Years experience

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs using C# and .NET

• Create technical designs for features and components and influence architecture decisions

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and YAML

• Integrate multiple products and services, ensuring robust communication and error handling

• Optimize database schemas, queries and index strategies for performance and scalability

• Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests to improve test coverage

• Drive code quality through reviews, static analysis and coding standards

• Work in Agile/Scrum teams, collaborate closely with product owners, QA and operations

• Share knowledge, mentor junior engineers and contribute to team process improvements

Skills

Candidates should demonstrate strong C#/.NET capabilities, systems integration experience, technical and architectural design proficiency, CI/CD and containerization expertise, cloud and on-premises deployment knowledge, strong database and testing skills, and the ability to lead and mentor within a collaborative Agile team.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Highlighted must-have skills

• 5+ years of professional .NET development experience

• CI/CD pipeline expertise and Docker with YAML

• Feature and component technical design experience

• Multi-component integration skills

• Cloud experience with Azure; on-premises experience desirable

• Strong Agile collaboration, code quality practices and automated testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in C# and .NET development

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and YAML-based configurations

• Practical cloud experience with Azure; familiarity with GCP or on-premise deployments is a plus

• Strong SQL and database optimization skills

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating across teams
