We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong SQL and Power BI skills to develop, maintain and enhance software applications and data-driven solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing .NET applications, working with SQL databases, and creating meaningful reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET.
- Design, develop and maintain SQL databases, queries, stored procedures and views.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations.
- Extract, transform and analyse data from multiple sources.
- Integrate Power BI reporting with existing business applications and databases.
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application and database issues.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing and deployment.
- Optimise application and SQL performance.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and system requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, security and integrity.
- Prepare technical documentation where required.
- Provide support and ongoing enhancements to existing systems.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in .NET development.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET.
- Strong SQL Server experience, including complex queries and stored procedures.
- Practical experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Experience with DAX and Power Query would be advantageous.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control, preferably Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
