.NET Developer – Azure DevOps (Angular or React required)

Description

We are seeking two experienced .NET Developers to join a banking client based in Sandton, Johannesburg. This is an on-site, subcontractor role requiring daily office attendance. The engagement is a 6 month contract with potential renewal. Candidates must have strong back-end .NET experience, proven Azure platform skills, front-end experience in Angular or React, and must be able to clear all client checks.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain .NET applications using C# and related frameworks.

• Implement serverless and PaaS solutions using Azure Functions, Azure App Service and Azure Container Apps.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines.

• Containerize applications using Docker and operate in containerized environments.

• Integrate applications with Azure services including Key Vault and managed identities for secure access to secrets and resources.

• Collaborate with front-end engineers to deliver responsive UI components using Angular or React.

• Apply event-driven design patterns where appropriate and work with MS SQL Server for data persistence.

• Write infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Terraform or Bicep to provision and manage cloud resources.

• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning and production support.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 to 7 years of professional experience in .NET development.

• Strong experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Proven experience with Azure platform services including Azure Functions, App Service and Container Apps.

• Experience implementing authentication and authorization using Azure Managed Identities and Azure AD concepts.

• Practical experience with Azure Key Vault for secret management.

• Experience authoring infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Terraform or Bicep.

• Demonstrable front-end experience with Angular or React; Angular or React experience is mandatory.

• Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.

• Experience with Docker and deploying containers to cloud environments.

• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on-site in Sandton daily.

• Must be able to pass all required client checks.
