This opportunity is suited to a technically strong developer who is passionate about Swift, modern iOS development, Clean Architecture and building maintainable, testable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality native iOS applications.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from initial concept through to production.
- Build scalable and robust mobile solutions using modern iOS technologies.
- Develop clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
- Apply Clean Architecture principles and clearly communicate technical decisions.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Designers and QA teams.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical dependencies across teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Apply shift-left principles to proactively identify and prevent defects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technical solutions.
- Operate effectively within an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 5-8 years' experience in native iOS development.
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Strong experience with The Composable Architecture (TCA).
- Practical understanding of Clean Architecture.
- Proven experience delivering features from concept through to production.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
- Strong ownership, initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Commitment to producing high-quality, testable and well-documented code.
- Experience with code reviews and continuous improvement practices.
Advantageous
- Experience with MapKit.
- Experience with CarPlay.
