National Technical Manager

• Our well-established client based in the East Rand is seeking a seasoned National Technical Manager with extensive technical experience in Mobile Cranes, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• 5–8 years' Technical Management experience
• Technical experience with Mobile Cranes
• Experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Diesel/Mechanical Trade
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification

Duties

• Assist in preparing annual maintenance and trade expense budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor repair and maintenance expenditure to ensure costs remain within or below budget.
• Continuously develop the technical capabilities of staff through ongoing training on new technologies.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Work closely with the Procurement team and OEMs to secure quality products and services at competitive prices and within required timeframes.
• Manage and process all OEM warranty claims.
• Oversee the registration of all newly manufactured generators.
• Drive generator sales while ensuring excellent customer support for both existing and prospective clients.
• Achieve national generator sales revenue and profit margin targets in line with management objectives.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely budget, forecast, branch, and customer visitation reports.
• Promote and present new products and service offerings to existing and potential customers.
• Provide customers and internal stakeholders with regular updates on work in progress.
• Apply supplier pricing structures that align with sales and profitability objectives.
• Identify, develop, and present new business opportunities to Executive Management MANCO.
• Coordinate and facilitate customer site surveys as required.
