National Operations Manager (Supply Chain)

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management • Extensive experience with WMS platforms. • Proven experience in fleet and warehouse management Duties include:

Strategic & Management Functions

• Develop and implement long-term logistics and supply chain strategies aligned with business goals. • Lead cross-functional teams to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. • Collaborate with senior leadership to set performance KPIs and strategic targets. • Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and resource planning. • Oversee the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the supply chain and logistics functions. • Mentor and develop warehouse and logistics teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Operational Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage warehouse and logistics operations across multiple sites.
• Design and optimize warehouse layouts and truck configurations for maximum efficiency.
• Conduct detailed costings on warehouses, trucks, and delivery routes.
• Analyse delivery networks to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
• Investigate and manage stock losses across all operations.
• Implement strategies to reduce overall stock loss.
• Oversee fleet management, including scheduling, maintenance, and cost control.
• Generate and present weekly and monthly operational and expense reports.
