Start free — we apply for you →- Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Rooms Care Multiskilled Handyman to support refurbishment, restoration, maintenance, and asset preservation activities within accommodation units by delivering high-quality multi-skilled building maintenance services that meet luxury hospitality standards. The role contributes to the upkeep, functionality, appearance, and longevity of accommodation facilities through planned and reactive maintenance interventions.
Duties & Responsibilities Maintenance and Refurbishment
- Perform painting and decorating work to required quality standards.
- Conduct tiling, carpentry, plumbing, and general building repairs.
- Carry out bath enamelling and furniture restoration activities.
- Repair and maintain cupboards, doors, ceilings, drywall structures, and related fittings.
- Complete waterproofing and preventative maintenance tasks.
Asset Preservation
- Support refurbishment and restoration initiatives across accommodation units.
- Assist with asset preservation programmes to maintain property standards.
- Identify maintenance concerns and report defects timeously.
Project Support
- Assist with room refurbishment projects.
- Conduct quality inspections on completed work.
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors where required.
- Ensure work areas are maintained in a safe and tidy condition.
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and company procedures.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with hospitality and engineering standards.
Skills and Competencies

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 Matric.
- Valid driver's licence.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in building maintenance, repairs, or refurbishment.
Advantageous
- Hospitality maintenance experience.
- Accommodation refurbishment experience.
- Exposure to contractor coordination and quality inspections.
