- To design, build, maintain and enhance secure, scalable Android applications that enable seamless digital payment experiences for millions of customers, while contributing to Flash's technology strategy and product innovation.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong Android development experience using Kotlin.
- Experience building native Android applications.
- Knowledge of Android SDK, Android Architecture Components and Jetpack libraries.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Understanding of MVVM and modern mobile architecture patterns.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments.
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using modern development practices.
- Deliver secure, scalable and high-performing mobile solutions aligned to business requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA and other developers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Integrate Android applications with internal systems, payment platforms and third-party services.
- Participate in solution design, technical planning and estimation activities.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve production issues and application defects.
- Ensure applications are thoroughly tested, documented and optimised before release.
- Support deployment processes and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
- Support and mentor team members in the team
- Assisting in out of hours production releases when required as well as out of hours support when necessary
