Mining Electrician

? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Electrical maintenance and repairs on mining equipment and infrastructure. • Installation, maintenance and fault-finding of electrical systems. • Conducting preventative and planned electrical maintenance. • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently and safely. • Working on fuel systems, fuel dispensing equipment, fuel pumps and associated electrical installations . • Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical panels, control systems, motors, pumps and related equipment. • Carrying out electrical inspections and ensuring equipment is safe and operational. • Testing electrical equipment and installations. • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, diagrams and schematics. • Performing breakdown maintenance and responding to electrical faults. • Ensuring all electrical work complies with applicable mining legislation, safety standards and company procedures. • Completing maintenance reports, job cards and relevant documentation. • Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance. • Working closely with the maintenance and mining teams to minimise equipment downtime. • Identifying potential electrical problems before they result in breakdowns. • Ensuring all work is carried out according to mine Health & Safety requirements . • Adhering to lock-out/tag-out and safe isolation procedures. • Maintaining good housekeeping in work areas. • Assisting with new electrical installations, upgrades and modifications where required. • Participating in emergency and breakdown call-outs when required. • Maintaining electrical tools and equipment in good working condition. • Following all company policies, procedures and safety regulations. ✅ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Electrical Trade Test / Red Seal Electrician qualification. • Proven mining electrical experience is essential. • Mining electrical experience on fuel systems is essential. • Proven experience with fuel dispensing equipment, fuel pumps and associated electrical installations . • Experience with electrical fault-finding and preventative maintenance. • Knowledge of mining electrical systems and equipment. • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics. • Strong knowledge of electrical safety and mining safety procedures. • Valid driver's licence. • Good communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance of the Kuruman / Khatu workplace. ?
