Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in underground hard-rock mining production management.
  • Botswana ERB (Engineers Registration Board) registration preferred.
  • Proven experience in on-site operational coordination.
  • Strong crew leadership and workforce management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to mining safety, productivity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage underground mining production operations.
  • Coordinate daily mining activities to achieve production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Supervise and develop mining personnel and contractors.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with technical, geological, engineering, and maintenance teams to optimize mine performance.
  • Ensure effective deployment of resources, equipment, and manpower.
