YES (YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SERVICES) PROGAMME Position: Millwright Location: Lanseria Plant Programme Duration: 12 Months KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant machinery Support senior Millwrights during breakdown repairs Participate in preventative maintenance activities Assist in diagnosing basic electrical and mechanical faults Learn structured troubleshooting methods under supervision Support restoration of equipment after breakdowns Execute assigned maintenance tasks as per schedule Learn maintenance standards and procedures Assist in ensuring equipment reliability and uptime Complete job cards accurately under guidance Learn to use CMMS systems (e.g., D365) Record maintenance activities and findings Assist in installation of new equipment and upgrades Participate in commissioning activities under supervision Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards Report risks and unsafe conditions immediately Maintain clean and safe working areas Based on the Business Process Management (BPM) processes the job holder is responsible for: S6 (Assure product conformity) S6.3 Responsible to comply with all Hygiene requirements in the plant. S6.2 Support complaint handling by reporting all identified non-conformities and support in the implementation of effective corrective actions determined by the process owner, when needed. S10 (Ensure occupational health, safety and environment) Ensure that HSE compliance in own area of responsibility. Report any incident or unsafe conditions seen in the plant/ work area.
