FineTech Minerals is a dynamic mineral processing company that has developed a novel mineral separation process. Our first commercial plant is currently exceeding planned production capacity, and we aim to expand in 2027.
We are a young, technocratic company with considerable scope for growth. We are looking for a motivated artisan or technician to join our operations team.
The position is based in Rustenburg. Occasional travel to Pretoria may be required.
Start date: January 2027
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include
- Working as part of a 4-days-on-4-days-off production team (12-hour shifts)
- Sampling
- Condition Monitoring
- General Maintenance
- Hands-on work incorporating improvements to the plant
- Performing process calculations
- Studying and improving operational parameters
- Leading a 3-person shift crew
- Gravity separation process control, supervision, and optimisation
Desired Experience & Qualification
Trade-tested, qualified artisans will be considered along with qualified technicians and technologists.
Preference will be given to Millwrights and Mechanical Technicians/Technologists, but other trades are encouraged to apply.
Minimum 5 years’ experience.
A trade certificate (Red Seal) or NDip from a recognised institution will be required.

Package & Remuneration
Around R50 000 per month (excluding benefits) depending on experience and qualification.
