- Must live in Paarl or surrounds
- Own reliable transport and Driver’s License is essential
- Experience working with food processing equipment
- Experience with butcher / meat processing machinery will be a strong advantage
- General hands-on experience in:
- * Mechanical, hydraulics & pneumatics
- * Plant and Building Maintenance
- * Freon Refrigeration (Ammonia Advantageous)
- * Welding
- * Electrical Work & Fault Finding
- * Plumbing
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Discipline and ability to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time
- Availability to work after hours and on weekends when needed
Job Details
- Repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Attending to breakdowns timeously and efficiently
- Carrying out daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance checks
- Assist with general refrigeration fault finding and maintenance
- Assist with general daily operation of boilers, steam lines and refrigeration plants
- Market-related salary
- Stable, full-time position in Paarl
- Hands-on working environment
