MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Be in a position of a Millwright Red Seal qualification
- Must have solid experience in hydraulics & pneumatic. 4 - 6 years of solid experience.
- Must have sold experience in working with press machines. 4 - 6 years of experience.
- Have a very strong mechanical & electrical background/experience
- Demonstrate leadership ability by leading from the front
- Being able to communicate effectively and have good interpersonal skills
- Have a hands-on approach and pride in work performed
- Attention to details and perseverance to get the details right
- Total commitment to product quality
- Being able to plan, organise and control costs
- Manage maintenance spend within budget
- Manage procurement and control of clay prep raw materials
- Have the ability to develop and implement systems to control the process
- A positive attitude, willingness to work long hours, and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- A minimum of 7 years of factory maintenance experience, with 5 years being in a team leader or similar position will be advantageous.
KEY PERFORMAMNCE
- To ensure that the quality of products that the factory supplies its customers meets the desired standard & specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, the quality and the consistency of the product produced.
- Be an expert in hydraulics and press. (4 -6 years solid experience)
- Developing relevant process controls and ensuring that they are carried out
- Maintenance of all equipment.
- Implementing and maintaining a preventative maintenance program in the department
- Purchasing and financial controls on all consumable materials necessary to ensure product quality
