Mid-Weight Designer

99c is a full-service, integrated advertising agency with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and one of South Africa’s largest independently owned agencies. We are looking for a Mid-weight Designer to join the dedicated team on a new financial services client in our Cape Town office. You will work across both ATL and digital communication and will be the client’s day-to-day designer: managing roll- outs, supporting the Senior Art Director and making sure jobs get out the door accurately and on time. The role doesn’t need to be concept-led, but you must be a thinker. You need to understand why a design works, solve problems, and adapt a campaign across different channels. A strong understanding of digital channels, including CRM and web, is essential. Role includes but is not limited to Acting as the day-to-day design contact on the client, handling campaign roll-outs and adaptations across ATL and digital channels Supporting the Senior Art Director in bringing campaigns to life and making sure every job is delivered on time and to standard Designing for digital channels, including CRM (emailers and newsletters), web (banners, landing pages and web assets) and social media Presenting work confidently to clients and senior creatives Maintaining exceptionally high standards for execution and attention to detail Collaborating and communicating well with the team and other departments
