Job Description
The Mid-Level Data Engineer is responsible to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, regulatory reporting, and digital banking initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Develop data integration solutions across multiple banking systems.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
- Support data warehousing and data lake environments.
- Perform data transformation and optimisation activities.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Modellers, and Business Analysts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- A National Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-6 years' experience in Data Engineering.
- Mandatory banking sector experience.
- Experience with SQL and data integration tools.
- Experience working with large datasets
