Description

  • Responsible for performing microbiological testing and ensuring raw materials, products, water and environmental samples meet required quality, GMP and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process and finished products.
  • Test water and environmental samples according to approved schedules and procedures.
  • Ensure testing is completed accurately and in line with GMP and SOPs.
  • Identify and report contamination, OOS results and deviations.
  • Support investigations and implement actions to control contamination.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare reports.
  • Responsible for managing microbiological investigations, including root cause analysis, deviation assessment, and preparation of comprehensive deviation reports in accordance with GMP and quality requirements.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.

Qualification

  • National Diploma in Microbiology.

Experience

  • 6+ years' relevant experience.
  • Microbiological laboratory experience.
