Job Title: Medical Sales Representative - Eastern Cape Start Date: 2026-08-17 - 2026-09-16 Vacancy Type: Permanent DBN003932 Sectors: Medical Location: Eastern Cape , Port Elizabeth Salary: Brief: A global pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Medical Sales Representative to engage with the Company's Customers in line with the Sales and Marketing strategy to achieve the sales target in their territory. The successful representative will cover Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, Jefferys Bay, Humansdorp, St Francis, Port Alfred and East London, (excluding Umtata) and will be engaging with GPs, Dermatologists, Gastroenterologists, Endocrinologists and Pharmacies. Detail: Key Responsibilities: Achieve Sales targets Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at the customer business Electronic Territory Management System Maintain product and industry knowledge Implementation of Sales and Marketing Strategy Achieving the annual regional sales budget and managing a territory expense budget. Tailor make customer strategies for each customer need in order to obtain mutual benefit and growth. Arrange customer focused functions. Participating in customer expos. Activate branded functions e.g. CPD functions in conjunction with Key Account Management team. Daily customer recon and reporting. Call rate, coverage, and frequency achievement to ensure good territory management. Maintain acceptable levels of market related and product knowledge, to ensure effective individual performance and training of customers. To implement a territory business plan to accomplish objectives in line with the Sales and Marketing strategy. Calling on Doctors. Ensure that the relevant training has been completed according to the training plan. Forwarding of all received Product Quality Complaints, Adverse Events and Medical Enquiries to the relevant person in Quality Assurance/ Pharmacovigilance/ Medical Affairs. Requirements: Related bachelor's degree Minimum of 36 months Pharma industry experience, Aesthetics experience preferred Effective Verbal and Written Communication Ability to manage time effectively Advanced Interpersonal Skills Computer Literacy – MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent Selling Skills Established and existing relationships in the territory, and with key stakeholders Embodies Values & Behaviours in all internal and external interactions.
