Detail: Key Responsibilities: Calling on Pharmacist-(Independent and Corporate Pharmacies),General Practitioners (Dispensing) and Clinic's: Visit assigned healthcare professionals in the West rand area to provide product information and promote awareness. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals to influence prescription behaviour as well as sales. Achieve the company's call rate targets to ensure comprehensive coverage of the target customer base. Achieving Area Budget: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and maximize market share within the assigned territory. Continuously monitor sales performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective actions to ensure the area reaches or exceeds the company budget. Carrying out Company Campaigns and Activities: Effectively implement marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities within the assigned territory. Conduct product presentations, organize educational events, and participate in medical conferences as required. Provide timely feedback to the marketing team on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support the development of effective marketing strategies Monthly Country Trip: Be available to participate in a monthly country trip to collaborate with the national sales team, share best practices, and align regional objectives with the company goals. Additional Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with healthcare professionals in the CRM system. Stay informed about the latest medical and scientific developments relevant to the assigned therapeutic areas. Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay up to date with competitors' products. Comply with all relevant legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines governing pharmaceutical sales activities. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field is advantageous. Proven experience as a Medical Representative or similar role in the pharmaceutical industry is desirable. Strong understanding of sales and general medicine is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage healthcare professionals. Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets. Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a team player. Valid driver's license, vehicle, and willingness to travel within the assigned territory. Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in using digital tools as well as MS Office for sales activities is an advantage.
