We are seeking an experienced Medical Representative to join a dynamic team, where you'll play a key role in building strong relationships with healthcare professionals while promoting a portfolio of prescription and, where applicable, over-the-counter products. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a field-based environment, enjoys scientific engagement, and is motivated by achieving sales success while maintaining the highest ethical and compliance standards. Detail: Promote a portfolio of pharmaceutical products to General Practitioners, Specialists, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. Deliver accurate, up-to-date scientific information to healthcare professionals through individual detailing and group presentations. Manage and develop a designated sales territory, ensuring effective coverage and call frequency. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, clinics, wholesalers, and other key stakeholders. Achieve and exceed territory sales targets through effective territory planning and execution. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities and provide valuable market insights. Attend medical meetings, educational events, conferences, and congresses as required. Prepare regular sales forecasts, business reviews, and territory reports for management. Support pharmacy-related activities, including product education, stock monitoring, servicing customer requests, and order facilitation where applicable. Ensure all adverse events, product complaints, and pharmacovigilance information are identified and reported in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and data integrity requirements. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, General Medicine, Dental Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years' pharmaceutical sales experience within the assigned territory. Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Fluent in English and Afrikaans . Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
