Mechanical Project Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to manage special purpose machinery and automation projects. The position will involve conceptualizing solutions to solve the client’s problem and then managing all aspects of the project including quoting, liaising with subcontractors, managing the installation team and working with the design team.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Provide quotes to clients

· Co-ordinate call-outs

· Purchasing of inventory

· Resource Scheduling

· Liaising with sub-contractors

· Liaising with customer regarding current and future projects

· Manage a team of employees

· Administrative development

· Supervise project execution

· Travel from time to time within South Africa

· Ensure customer satisfaction at all times

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Mechanical Engineering degree / diploma or similar Qualification

• 3 - 7 years Project Management experience in industrial automation projects

Package & Remuneration

Cost to company package on offer which includes Pension fund benefit and 13th cheque dependent on company and individual performance (To be discussed after interview phase)
