An industry-leading manufacturing and engineering company is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join its growing team in Paarl. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious engineer to gain exposure to project execution, equipment design, manufacturing processes, and international engineering projects. Duties & Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline requirements. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, production teams, and stakeholders to support project planning, design reviews, procurement activities, and commissioning efforts. This role offers excellent exposure to project engineering within a dynamic manufacturing environment and is ideal for a hands-on engineer looking to grow their project management and technical expertise. Education:
- BEng/BSc Mechanical Engineering
- Project Management qualification advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required
- 3-5 years' mechanical engineering or project engineering experience
- Manufacturing or industrial environment exposure
- Project planning and coordination experience
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Equipment, machinery, or process engineering experience advantageous
- Stakeholder and contractor management skills
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams
