This role is ideal for a technically exceptional Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, working on cutting-edge equipment design, and contributing to projects that support mining operations across the globe. Working alongside a highly accomplished engineering team, you will take ownership of mechanical design and project engineering activities from concept through to manufacture, applying sound engineering principles to deliver robust, high-performance solutions. Detail: BEng or BSc Mechanical Engineering (University qualification essential) Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be highly advantageous 3 years' experience in Mechanical Project Engineering Experience within mineral processing, mining, materials handling, crushing, screening or conveyor systems will be highly advantageous Strong theoretical engineering ability with excellent mechanical design capability Excellent academic record (university transcripts will form part of the selection process) Registration with ECSA or eligibility to register will be advantageous Fluent in English Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Krugersdorp Lead mechanical engineering activities on mineral processing projects Develop mechanical designs and engineering calculations for vibrating and materials handling equipment Perform engineering analysis and apply first-principle design methodologie As Specialist Recruiters for professionals in your industry, we are well geared to represent your best career interests.
