A Leading company that specialises in the manufacturing of mining equipment and machinery, as well as industrial gearboxes have an opportunity available for a Mechanical Engineer to focus on Marketing and Sales in the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining, minerals processing, power, cement, ports, and heavy industrial sectors worldwide
- Worldwide Market research
- Brand development and strategies
- Understand customer requirements and recommend technically appropriate solutions.
- Review customer specifications and collaborate with the engineering team to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Compiling and setting up of marketing strategies
- Compiling of marketing material
- Planning and managing of Expo's and marketing compaigns
- Conduct site visits, client presentations, and technical discussions.
- Join design and review meetings to improve company products
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
- New projects targeting new markets.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting and reporting.
- Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively
Desired Experience & Qualification
- B.Ing / B.Sc Mechanical Engineering - 4 Year degree.
- At least 4 Years work experience in similar field.
- Strong marketing orientated focus
- Good understanding of machine components manufacturing.
- Excellent computer skills
- Excelent verbal and writing skills.
- Attention to details.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Excelent marketing and presentation skills of company products
Package & Remuneration
Package and remuneration negotiable based on experience.
Company Medical Aid / Pension Fund contributions with 13th checque in December (perfromance based)
