Requirements and Qualifications

• BEng in Mechanical Engineering • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably in the material handling industry. • Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and/or Inventor. • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, material science, and manufacturing processes. • Familiarity with engineering analysis and calculation methods. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Self-driven and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Design of mechanical systems, components and sub-base and/or chassis platforms to support the integration of lifting and loading equipment or systems. • Structural analysis by performing calculations and simulations to ensure integrity, stability, safety and compliance with applicable standards. • Work closely with sales and production teams to modify or develop customised solutions tailored to client specifications, especially for attachments and crane applications. • Provide technical support to production teams to resolve design-related issues and ensure the manufacturability of engineered products. • Participate in prototype builds and product testing to validate performance and resolve issues. • Identify and implement design improvements and modifications to increase efficiency, durability, and cost effectiveness. • Prepare engineering / technical drawings, bill of materials, manuals, and installation guidelines. • Ensure that all designs comply with the industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality assurance procedures.
