2BLN (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced and professionally registered Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in fire protection, HVAC and building services. The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical engineering design, technical assessments, project coordination and ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulations
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and review mechanical engineering designs, drawings, calculations and specifications.
Design and assess HVAC, fire protection and building services systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations and client requirements.
Conduct site inspections, technical assessments and quality checks.
Coordinate mechanical engineering activities with multidisciplinary project teams.
Prepare technical reports, specifications and tender documentation.
Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
Identify and resolve technical issues to support effective project delivery.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years’ relevant working experience in mechanical engineering.
At least 5 years’ post-professional registrationwith ECSA.
Professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) in the applicable professional registration category.
Relevant experience in fire protection, HVAC and building services engineering.
Knowledge of applicable South African engineering standards, legislation and regulatory requirements.
Experience in mechanical engineering design, technical documentation and project delivery
Added Advantage
Professional registration in fire protection engineering (PR Fire).
Experience in multidisciplinary building services projects.
Strong technical problem-solving and project coordination skills.
Package & Remuneration
R75 000.00 to R90 000.00
