- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman
- Relevant drafting qualification or certification
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar drafting software
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering drawings
- Ability to interpret and develop detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings
- Experience creating assembly drawings, technical layouts, and bills of materials
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate mechanical drawings and designs according to project specifications
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings
- Modify and update existing drawings as required
- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and client requirements
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, and production teams
- Maintain drawing records and revision control
- Assist with design improvements and engineering solutions
