Mechanical Engineer with B.Sc. or B.Tech. (Mech. Eng.) and a strong flair for design rather than pure structural analysis and design. The ideal candidate would be a creative individual who would be able to conceptualise internal designs using FEA in order to optimise engineering structures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Mechanical Design Engineer
(Heavy Engineering)
B.Sc. or B.Tech. (Mech. Eng.) with a strong flair for design rather than pure structural analysis and design. The ideal candidate would be a creative individual who would be able to conceptualise internal designs using FEA in order to optimise engineering structures.
The successful Design Engineer would need to be constantly liaising with the production, field-service and sales to improve machines and be creative in designs relating to modifications, upgrades and new machines. This is a position for creative person with new ideas and a design thought process.
Ideally a B.Sc. (Mech. Eng.) graduate, but an engineer with proven design capabilities and experience will be considered.
A salary commensurate with experience will be negotiated.
