Mechanic (03 Month FTC) -Montague Gardens, Cape Town

• Trade Certificate

Work Experience

• Five years' experience in the field
• Auto Electrical experience — advantageous
• 5yrs experience in RMI workshop

Knowledge and Skills

• Mechanical and product knowledge
• Ability to use manuals and special equipment
• Basic computer literacy
• Quality maintenance
• Good communication skills
• Strong diagnostic ability
• Ability to adhere to time constraints and deadlines

KEY DELIVERABLES AND OUTPUTS

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will

• Ensure work carried out reflects the requested and authorised work by using the latest technical information and ensuring excellent quality of repairs.
• Use the correct tools and equipment at all times, as per requirements.
• Ensure work is completed according to manufacturer specifications.
• Demonstrate good administrative acumen by reporting accurately on faults found and work completed, and ensuring that manufacturer work instructions and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Take good care of customer vehicles and property by using fender and seat covers at all times and driving safely when testing vehicles.
• Maintain a professional impression at all times by taking care of your work area and ensuring it is neat and clean.
