The main purpose of the job is to manage and support meat processing operations while ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production. Detail: The key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Operate and assist with the running of the processing plant lines (sausages, emulsions, ham & bacon) including fillers, injectors, smokers and related equipment. Work on production systems to meet output, yield and quality targets. Understand and apply meat‐cutting, part selection and basic butchery processing (e.g., distinguishing between cuts such as leg of pork vs oxtail). Support maintenance and cleaning of equipment and line as per operational schedules. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP and GMP standards in the production area. Collaborate with the quality assurance / control team to maintain product standards and traceability. Be willing to learn, adapt and grow in a manufacturing environment; participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a presentable, professional appearance and work in accordance with company safety, operational and people standards. Supervise or coordinate a small team, assist with training and guide junior operators. Key Requirements: National Senior Certificate or equivalent with experience in a meat processing / butchery or manufacturing environment. Understanding of Food Safety Systems, HACCP, and GMP, and familiarity with production equipment.
