• Grade 12 (Matric). • National Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing, Materials Management, Inventory Control, or a related field will be advantageous. • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Materials Controller, Warehouse Controller, Warehouse Coordinator or Inventory Controller role within the mining, construction, EPCM or heavy industrial environment. • Proven experience working on mining capital projects, shutdowns or construction projects. • Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing and materials control processes. • Experience receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing project materials. • Working knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, delivery notes and goods received procedures. • Experience performing stock counts, inventory reconciliations and materials tracking. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, Oracle or similar inventory management systems. • Strong organisational, administrative and record-keeping skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities. • Willingness to work on-site in Heidelberg, Gauteng. Roles and Responsibilities: Materials Control
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, issuing and tracking of project materials. • Ensure materials are accurately received, inspected and recorded upon delivery. • Verify delivered materials against purchase orders, delivery notes and project specifications. • Maintain accurate inventory records for all project materials. • Monitor stock levels and ensure critical materials remain available to support project activities. Inventory & Warehouse Management
• Organise the safe storage and identification of materials within the warehouse and laydown areas. • Conduct routine stock counts and inventory reconciliations. • Monitor stock movements and investigate inventory discrepancies. • Ensure materials are correctly labelled, stored and preserved to prevent damage or deterioration. • Maintain housekeeping standards within warehouse and storage facilities. Procurement & Logistics Coordination
• Liaise with procurement regarding outstanding purchase orders and expected deliveries. • Coordinate with suppliers to monitor material delivery schedules. • Assist with expediting urgent materials required for project execution. • Support logistics activities relating to the transportation and distribution of project materials. • Ensure timely availability of materials to minimise project delays.
