Job Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Marketing Operations Manager for their Head Office.The Marketing Operations Manager will beresponsible for establishing and managing operational frameworks, governance processes, reporting structures and business management practices that enable efficient and effective delivery across the Marketing function.
The role supports operational excellence through process optimisation, budget management, reporting, governance, resource visibility and Print Production oversight.

Minimum Requirements…

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Operations, Finance, Project Management or related field.
5+ years' experience in marketing operations, business operations, project governance or marketing management.

Advantageous

Experience managing budgets, reporting, supplier operations and cross-functional processes advantageous.

Job Specification…

Marketing operations and governance

Develop and maintain marketing governance frameworks, operating rhythms, processes and ways of working.
Drive consistency in briefing, approvals, reporting, documentation and operational standards across Marketing.
Identify process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and operational effectiveness.

Planning, reporting and business performance

Maintain operational dashboards, trackers and reporting frameworks across the Marketing function.
Provide visibility into team capacity, operational performance, priorities and business risks.
Produce regular management reporting to support decision-making and planning.

Budget and supplier operations

Manage operational budget tracking, expenditure reporting, procurement and supplier administration processes.
Maintain visibility of agency, supplier and departmental spend.
Support agency and supplier onboarding, documentation, operational standards and compliance processes.

Print Production oversight

Provide operational oversight of the Print Production function, including workflow, resource and budget visibility.
Monitor production operational performance, supplier controls and process efficiency.

Key Competencies

Domain expertise

Strong understanding of marketing operations, governance, reporting and process management.
Experience with budget tracking, procurement, supplier administration and operational reporting.
Understanding of creative-to-production workflows and Print Production operating requirements.

Leadership & commercial acumen

Structured, detail-oriented approach to governance, budget control and operational performance.
Ability to coordinate stakeholders, improve processes and maintain operational discipline.
Commercial awareness to support efficient resource, supplier and production management.

Budget accuracy and control : Marketing spend tracked accurately and within agreed governance.
Governance compliance : Marketing processes, approvals and documentation are consistently applied .
Operational reporting accuracy: Dashboards and trackers are complete, reliable and up to date.
Process adoption: Teams follow agreed ways of working and operational standards.
Supplier and agency compliance: Supplier records, onboarding and operating requirements are maintained.
Print Production operational performance: Production workflow and budget visibility are maintained.
