Marketing Manager

A leading real estate company is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

The role will focus on Digital Marketing, Sales and Commercial Support, playing a key role in driving the company’s marketing and commercial objectives. The successful candidate will also be required to travel to the DRC on a monthly basis as part of the role. Requirements:

Website Management

• Update the Luano City website on a weekly basis with current information, developments, photographs, news and project progress. • Ensure that all website information, contact details, available properties, developments and marketing material remain accurate and up to date. • Coordinate with management, architects, construction teams and other departments to obtain relevant content. • Identify opportunities to improve the website's presentation, functionality and effectiveness as a sales and marketing platform. • Monitor website enquiries and ensure that leads are directed to the appropriate person and followed up. • And related functions. Social Media Management

• Manage and regularly update all Luano City social media platforms.
• Develop and maintain a weekly/monthly social media content plan.
• Create and publish professional content relating to Luano City developments, infrastructure, lifestyle, commercial opportunities, events and achievements.
• Obtain and coordinate suitable photographs, videos and other marketing content.
• Ensure consistency of branding and messaging across all digital platforms.
• Monitor comments, messages and enquiries and ensure that they are responded to or referred to the appropriate person.
• Track social media engagement and recommend initiatives to increase Luano City's digital reach and visibility.

Sales

• Support and actively participate in the sale and leasing of Luano City properties and opportunities. • Maintain an accurate database of prospective purchasers, tenants and investors. • Coordinate property viewings, presentations and meetings. • Prepare and distribute sales presentations, brochures, property information and other sales material. • Assist management with sales proposals and commercial presentations. • And related functions. Marketing

• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to strengthen the Luano City brand.
• Assist with marketing campaigns for Luano City developments.
• Identify appropriate advertising channels and marketing opportunities.
• Coordinate production of brochures, signage, advertisements, presentations, videos and digital marketing material.
• Assist with events, launches, open days and promotional activities.
• Develop marketing initiatives directed at major employers, mining companies, expatriates, investors and other target markets in Lubumbashi and the wider DRC.
• Monitor competing developments and report on relevant market activities, pricing and marketing strategies. Propose innovative marketing initiatives aimed at increasing awareness, enquiries and sales.

AI-Assisted Quote Comparison & Procurement Support – don’t need to be a specialist, but need to have an understanding of AI and be able to analyse information.

• Receive quotations obtained for goods, services, construction work, maintenance, equipment and other company requirements. • Use appropriate AI tools and structured comparison methods to analyse quotations. • Compare quotations on more than price, including: o quantities and specifications; o scope inclusions and exclusions; o quality and brands proposed; o delivery periods; o warranties and guarantees; o payment terms; o taxes and duties; o installation or ancillary costs; o technical compliance; and o overall value for money.

• Identify discrepancies, omissions, duplicated items, unusual pricing and potentially inflated costs. • Compare quoted prices against previous company purchases, competing suppliers and available market benchmarks where practical. • Ensure quotations are compared on a like-for-like basis. • Prepare concise comparison reports and recommendations for management. • Request clarification or revised quotations from suppliers where quotations are incomplete or not directly comparable. • Maintain an organised electronic database of quotations, suppliers and historical pricing. • Use AI as an analytical support tool while independently verifying material information before recommendations are submitted.
