MARKETING GRADUATE / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TRAINEE

Location: Rosslyn, Pretoria Salary: R14 000 R19 000 per month, based on experience Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

Our client, based in Rosslyn, Pretoria, is seeking an ambitious and confident Marketing Graduate who is eager to build a successful career in Business Development within the manufacturing industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified graduate to gain practical commercial experience while working towards becoming a Business Development Executive .

The successful candidate will receive hands-on exposure to client relationship management, lead generation, new business development, sales activities and the company's products and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research and identify potential clients within target markets.
• Generate new sales leads through proactive prospecting.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with new and existing clients.
• Assist with quotations, proposals and client presentations.
• Support the Business Development team with sales and marketing activities.
• Attend client meetings and gain practical exposure to business development.
• Maintain accurate client and prospect information.
• Learn and develop a thorough understanding of the company's products, services and manufacturing processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Commerce or a related qualification essential.
• Recently graduated or up to 2 years' commercial experience.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle essential.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong relationship-building abilities.
• Highly organised, confident and eager to learn.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Strong interest in sales, marketing and business development.
