Job Summary

The Marketing Account Manager: Education will take ownership of the marketing and commercial positioning of SSISA's Education offerings, including:

  • QCTO & CHE & Online Qualifications
  • Online Short Courses
  • Workshops
  • Student Recruitment Campaigns
  • Open Days and Virtual Open Days
  • Corporate Education Offerings
  • Future Education Products and Services
  • Working closely with Education, Sales, Business Development and Marketing teams, this role will ensure that all education programmes are effectively positioned, supported by strong lead-generation strategies and aligned to enrolment and revenue objectives.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business Management, Commerce, Digital Marketing, Education, Communications or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing or education marketing, commercial, programme management, student recruitment or sales-support roles.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience with CRM, lead generation, marketing automation and customer acquisition.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification
  • Experience within higher education, professional education, online learning, QCTO, CHE or accredited learning environments.
  • HubSpot, Marketing Automation, Digital Marketing or CRM certifications.
  • Experience in student recruitment, admissions or learner acquisition.

Job Functions

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for all Education products and programmes.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, SEO, paid advertising, content marketing and PR channels.
  • Build and manage annual campaign calendars aligned to enrolment cycles and business objectives.

Lead Generation & Enrolment Growth

  • Drive lead generation and enrolment growth across the Education portfolio.
  • Develop and optimise lead funnels, nurture journeys and conversion pathways.
  • Work closely with Education sales and admissions teams to improve conversion performance.

CRM & HubSpot Management

  • Manage HubSpot pipelines, workflows, automations and lead-nurturing activities.
  • Develop landing pages, forms, email campaigns, segmentation strategies and lead-scoring models.
  • Continuously optimise customer journeys and marketing automation processes.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor campaign performance, conversion rates and ROI.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Use performance insights to optimise campaigns, improve enrolment performance and support future decision-making.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary marketing contact for the Education business unit.
  • Collaborate with Education, Sales, Admissions, Product Leads, Business Development and Marketing teams to achieve commercial objectives.

Manage, support and develop team members

  • Ensure the team is sufficiently provided with opportunities to upskill and develop their skillset.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to your team to help them develop their skills.
  • Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback to team members on their progress and areas for improvement and ensure accountability.
  • In conjunction with HR, participate in human capital tasks such as recruitment and selection and employer relations.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment to enhance the team.

Special Conditions

  • Working occasionally after-hours or weekends when required for events, activations, or content coverage.
