- Support the team in meeting targets, deadlines, and quality standards by understanding project objectives and aligning activities with defined goals.
- Plan and coordinate the steps and timelines required to achieve targets, clearly communicating priorities and expectations to each team member as needed.
- Facilitate task execution by providing the necessary tools, resources, and training, as well as arranging travel and logistics to support operational efficiency.
- Manage the standby roster, monitor team progress, offer support where required, and address deviations from purchasing standards to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Assist the team with long-term demand forecasting to support resource planning and strategic decision-making.
- Compile and maintain a pipeline of upcoming tenders and business opportunities to support proactive planning and responsiveness.
- Support data-driven decisions by analysing sales or cost data to identify emerging trends, performance gaps, or problem areas.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
- Diploma in business administration, finance / sales or a similar
- 3+ years' experience in administration
- MS Office software and SAP
