Start free — we apply for you →Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician Start Date: 2026-08-07 - 2026-09-04 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA001085 Sectors: Manufacturing Location: Gauteng , Sedibeng (Vereeniging) Salary: R 18000 - R 25000 Brief: Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join their team in Vereeniging Detail: Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Review customer technical requirements and support quotation processes. Create and maintain manufacturing drawings and process documentation. Develop manufacturing routes and support production planning. Generate CNC turning and milling programs using CAD/CAM software. Assist with machine setup, troubleshooting, and process optimisation. Participate in first-off approvals and production validation. Conduct dimensional inspections and quality verification checks. Support continuous improvement initiatives and technical problem-solving within the factory environment. Minimum Requirements Diploma, Degree, or Technical Qualification in: Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Drafting Toolmaking Or a related engineering field. Experience within a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to interpret engineering drawings. Experience using CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or similar. CNC programming or CAD/CAM experience will be highly advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Fluent in Afrikaans. Valid driver's licence advantageous. Skills & Competencies Engineering drawing interpretation. CAD/CAM and manufacturing process knowledge. Basic metrology and quality inspection techniques. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow within the engineering field.
